Process Water Production at Brabant Water

Starting in September 2024, we will embark on an exciting new project with Brabant Water at WPB Industriewater Zevenbergen. This location, managed by Brabant Water, is crucial for producing process water for the industry at the port of Moerdijk, serving major companies. Brabant Water is the primary drinking water utility for the province and also oversees process water production in the port.

Our project aims to test and scale up our innovative electrochemical coagulant-producing system, known as CIWI-EC. This technology will produce iron coagulants on-site, replacing the currently used iron chloride. By doing this, we seek to enhance water quality, reduce reliance on the chemical industry, minimize chemical hazards, and potentially lower the carbon footprint.
